National Lefthanded Golf Championships
NSW Division hosted the 58th National Championships held at Forster/Tuncurry last month utilising courses at Tuncurry, Taree and Tallwoods.
Jeff Gill had success winning A Grade Stableford (the Doug Bachli Cup) with 137 points over 4 rounds. More importantly but not to take away from Jeffs victory, NSW won the teams event known as the Len Nettlefold Cup with an average of 126.5 points. Michael Maynard playing off scratch was the gross runner up with 317 strokes, 14 behind winner Chris Walk from Qld who had 303 strokes for the 4 rounds
